Unfortunately I never quite got into the photographic groove, partly because

from my armchair, your photos let me hear and smell the streets

in my one trip to Paris i stayed on Rue Beaunier not far from where you seem to have been; the everyday in that area was a great counterpoint to the grand sights, but it seems you wandered far beyond the boundaries your ankle would have set
