I think your tone, what with the imperative verb form, lacking capitalization and punctuation, is a little, well, abrupt. Your PDML posse deserves better. I frequently lecture my difficult 6-year-old when she emits one-word imperatives, especially at the dinner table. [It’s not working.] It’s OK, I’ll do my best to bear up under the weight. [sighs melodramatically]
