A bit far, but not toooo far;
-Tombstone
- Bisbee
- Huachuca mountains
Closer in, the Saguaro cacti in the National (?) Forest (?) East South East
of Tucson.
20 years ago I drove through a pass in the Huachuca mountains, just a couple
miles north of the Mexican border, followed a gravel road through cattle
country, eventually got to Nogales, the Mexican border town approximately
due south of Tucson. Nice country.
Put all of my ideas together: head SE out of Tucson, S through Tombstone to
Bisbee, back East to Nogales, north to Tucson. A good long day trip. Or
layover in Bisbee and enjoy dinner at the Copper Queen Hotel . . .
