Studio practice has for centuries included students and apprentices making
faithful copies of master drawings and other works - this is no different
other than the thing they're copying. Any academically-trained artist could
do it. Being a good copyist is a long way from being a good artist.
Takes a little bit of talent to do it with a ball point pen though.
Most people can't even do a crossword puzzle with them.
