Thanks, Frank! The X2 is a very good replacement for a CL with just the standard lens. It *feels* thoroughly Leica in its execution. :-)
(You'll be amused to note that a CL is on its way to me now ... It will be the third one I've had! One of my Leica favorites. Who knows how much I'll use it, but it seemed like it would be a nice compact to have again. Perhaps I'll do a "roll of film a week" project or something like that. :-) On Thu, Aug 23, 2012 at 2:10 PM, [email protected] <[email protected]> wrote: > Cool. > > Like my Leica CL, which might as well be a fixed lens camera since I can't > afford a lens other than the 40 that's on it. > > Anyway, that's a striking gallery! > > Cheers, > frank > > "What can be asserted without proof can be dismissed without proof." -- > Christopher Hitchens > > --- Original Message --- > > From: Godfrey DiGiorgi <[email protected]> > Sent: August 23, 2012 8/23/12 > To: "PAW Picture-A-Week project" <[email protected]>, SeePhoto Talk > <[email protected]>, BAPhotoShooters BAPA > <[email protected]>, PDML List <[email protected]> > Subject: GESO - X2 Ideas - GDG > > learning the Leica X2 and coming to grips with a one lens camera ... > > set on flickr.com: > http://www.flickr.com/photos/gdgphoto/sets/72157631203743236/ > video presentation: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/25268645/X2-ideas.mp4 > > the video is two and a half minutes, 15 photos. > > this does not make a whole yet. still experimenting. > > thanks for looking. > comments appreciated. > > Godfrey > -- > a photo blog: http://godfreydigiorgi.posterous.com > > > > > -- > PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List > [email protected] > http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net > to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow > the directions. > -- > PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List > [email protected] > http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net > to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow > the directions. -- Godfrey godfreydigiorgi.posterous.com -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
