Paul is right, Mark: That's Lakeshore Boulevard in Toronto. Actually it's just
west of Toronto proper in the old suburb of New Toronto.
Well, DUH! I don't know what I was thinking there. Or wasn't thinking. But that I know.

As it approaches Toronto it does get wider. I think it eventually becomes a six
or eight lane divided roadway. But in New Toronto it's our main street with
shops, bars, restaurants, drunks and hookers. It's a bit shabby but improving
of late. It eventually becomes old Highway 2 and follows Lake Ontario down to
Hamilton and beyond.

Thanks for the comment on the photo. And thanks to all who looked and commented.

Bad weather... (you know the rest)

Okay, ask. Taking photos, I guess.

That's my answer, and I'm sticking to it:

Hope you enjoy. Comments welcome.

Nice mood and the highlights with the B&W night setting make the image pop.

Where on Lakeshore is this? When I was a wayward student attending
Roosevelt University I used to live near Wabash and Congress - Lakeshore
was huge - 8? 10? lanes. This looks much smaller and more humane.
