They are a bit like junk food, but I still enjoy shooting them. Having framing elements or foreground helps to tell the story a bit, and is nicer to look at than streaks of light against a black background.
I think you did a good job with framing them, and having the moon in fireworks shots that isn't completely blown out is a rare feat.
