This one was definitely female.

I think.

;-)

Have to admit the extreme softness of the photo makes ID that much harder, but
I walked right by her and she was almost certainly a she.

As I said in the initial post what is unusual about this is the time of day.
I've seen "the girls" out after dark, but never so obvious in broad daylight.
Also, in our neighbourhood, their dress is rarely this garish. Maybe she's
testing out a new location or something...

As I'm sure Bruce has noticed, this part of Toronto is an interesting mix.
South of Lakeshore Blvd. are nice single family homes with Volvos, BMWs and
Audis in the driveway. I'm sure that some of the big homes with waterfront
access are valued in the millions.

North of Lakeshore? A bit more downscale. Lots of down and outers drinking at
sad little restaurants on the strip.

And at night, hookers. Sorry, "sex trade workers".

Too bad about this photo. The image, the moment was a good one, I thought.
However it's way too soft to do anything with, other than show the list and
have a few laughs.

Which we've done and off to the trash bin of digital history it goes.

Thanks for looking. Thanks for commenting.

Cheers,
frank

I got the drift of your comment. First glance at the photo, I thought, "that's
a guy." Then again, I have experience in that regard, having been besieged by
hookers of questionable gender while waiting in line to get into the Lincoln
Tunnel at rush hour. The hookers worked the car lines, going car to car to
proposition the driver and sometimes reaching in an open window to grab a
little crotch. After one such encounter with a "woman" who needed a shave, I
kept my windows rolled up tight. Of course that was in New York's bad old days,
before Rudy cleaned up the west side.
