Thanks guys. Both of those replies are interesting. I've gone back and looked at this photo on an iPad, in Lightroom, and on a couple of different monitors. It looks different on all of them.
The shadow under the bridge could be opened up a bit. On my monitor you can see the edge of the sidewalk and barely see the surface of the sidewalk. The comment on the orange bench surprised me. In Lightroom it's down in the shadows and didn't even catch my eye. On the iPad it's a lot more distinct. At least in a print everyone is looking at the same thing. Of course, it would take a while to mail it around to everyone. :-) gs George Sinos -------------------- [email protected] www.georgesphotos.net plus.georgesinos.com On Fri, Jun 8, 2012 at 12:18 PM, Kenton Brede <[email protected]> wrote: > On Fri, Jun 8, 2012 at 11:43 AM, George Sinos <[email protected]> wrote: >> This is number 11 in the series "Print-a-Day for 30 Days." >> >> <http://georges.posterous.com/into-the-light-print-a-day-11> > <snip> > > Nicely done.
