A couple of weekends ago I helped out with a Dog Walkathon in the neighbouring suburb of Mimico. It was a fundraiser for the Etobicoke Humane Society at which I volunteer. (Mimico and New Toronto are old suburbs which long since got absorbed by Etobicoke, which itself has been absorbed by Toronto - I know, it's complicated)
When another of the volunteers, Deera, saw my camera she asked if I could take a photo of her and pooch, as she didn't have a nice picture of the two of them.
