My Macbook3,1 WILL NOT boot in 64-bit mode no matter what I try. It seems I'm not alone. (I did succeed in getting it to lock up once, though. With a McAfee-encrypted drive, that meant driving 20 miles to the other office to grab the "rescue boot USB stick" and get things sorted again. Yikes).
