I suspected that it was HDR done well.  Congratulations, it looks excellent.

I'm not sure how HDR work down in the nuts and bolts, but it would be 
interesting to see if the individual frames are sharp, and it's the combination 
that is a little bit soft.

I was also wondering about lightroom lens correction doing something with the 
perspective. I've noticed that it sometimes seems to soften the image a bit as 
well.

You'll end up doing HDR panoramics with focus stacking.  By the time you're 
done, the end result will be the combination of 105 separate exposures.  That 
way leads madness.
