We have our share of rude idiots. We're not all polite.
And if you think we have clean air, you should see Hamilton, Ontario, Canada's
Steeltown.
We have our share of urban blight, gunplay in highschools, crackwhores, racial
profiling by cops, all those fun things. Maybe not to the extent that you have
it in larger US cities, but it's all here.
Don't get me wrong, I love Canada; there's no other place in the world I would
choose to live in. I'm just warning against idealizing.

Not to worry. Any time I'm tempted to idealize Canada, I just remind
myself they also gave us William Shatner.
