I use a Netbook - a Thinkpad X100e, which is very good for slouching around wasting my life on the PDML. It has W7 Professional. I can't remember all the other acronyms and numbers. I'm contemplating getting an iPad though because it seems better designed for couch spuds. > > It might be where I can finally use Lightroom. It has lots of big numbers and impenetrable acronyms, so it must be very good. At the time I bought it it was comparable (by which I mean same spec and same parts) as the top end Mac, but over £1,000- cheaper. I don't know of anything comparable with LR that runs on PCs. > Other question - there's no CD/DVD, so how the heck would I install > Lightroom? ... or whatever? You can download Lightroom, and most other apps for that matter. I also have an accessory DVD drive for the Thinkpad - they're very cheap.
