Very interesting. I don't see exposure compensation as being needed in manual mode myself because I'll be taking a test shot and checking the histogram anyways. There are so many ways a scalar meter can be fooled, it's best to check the histogram anyways. Especially something like a flower that can have a lot of luminance on only one channel. What I'm most interested in hearing about is general usability. Also, how easy is it to carry in a coat or cargo pocket with a 40mm lens. And for me, how well does manual focus work in low light situations. If low light sensitivity and noise is on par with the K-05, then it meets my minimum requirements. For that matter, even the K-x and K-r are up to usable performance in that regard.
