That's how it always worked for me.
And... if it's the same focal length you had the last time you set it manually,
that's what the default will be.
True, but while it's almost instantanious, it still necessitates going
through the start up sequence which slows down the flow. Yes I know,
then I shouldn't be using an "A" zoom... Which brings up other
annoyances...
