I'd have thought it obvious that no-one can have a worst shot, however you
may define worst, but the photographers seem to have chosen the near misses
which they most regret - the one that got away - and that seems like a
reasonable enough definition to me for the purposes of a newspaper article.


Yes - if this turns into a future PUG theme (and I've made a note...), something like 'Close but no cigar' might be a good title. I fear a PUG theme of 'My worst shot' would turn into a truly appalling gallery.

Besides which, we've all deleted our worst shots, haven't we?
