Well, I just sent them to her phone a minute ago. Guess I'll find out soon enough. ;-)

Show her your present shots first. If she likes them as much as we do
here, then you won't need a crutch anymore.

Many thanks, Bruce!

I figure I can make another stab at it when the K20D comes in, having the "I
really need to test out this new camera, but I don't have anyone to pose for
me. *Boo-hoo-hoo . . .*"

I wonder how long I can get away with leaning on that crutch?

There's a very lovely, informal and candid intimacy about them that's
very appealing. (Note that I mean the Sarah shots. :-) )

I'd have pulled back a little so as to not crop her mouth in those
last two, but I can understand your impulse. Once you find a fetching
and willing female subject there's a desire to stick close to her. :-)

Good shootin' pardner!

Hi all,

Well, I took the cameras out for a stroll yesterday and ended up hanging
out
and having a few beers with a friend for the night. She's a fetching
young
lady names Sarah and she was kind enough to allow me to photograph her
after
a little loosening up.

I applied one or two of the new Picasa filters that I thought were
interesting -- Cinemascope and Infrared Film. Of course, your mileage may
vary. I thought they added something to a few photos that otherwise would
have been rather "meh".

Here they be:

All of these were shot with the K-x fitted with the A-50/1.7

Comments and critiques are, as always, welcome.

Thanks!
