I should know better than put myself here, but my brother recently decided to be a Pentax photographer. He has acquired the venerable K10D and has installed PSE9 on a recently purchased Mac. He lives about 200 miles away. but even if he lived next door I would be no help to him in downloading images into PSE9. He tells me that when he downloads from the memory card the images are "grabbed" by iPhoto and he is unable to move them to PSE9 for editing. He has no photo friends or acquaintances who have the slightest idea of how to help him. Anyone on the list have some very basic comments that I can pass along? He has a computer geek son who might be able to translate for him, but one who is is not into photography.
