John I went to Amazon and found 2-3 different shades for mine. I got one
rubber one and one hard plastic. They are also the right size for M 50mm
& M 28mm. I think the size is 49mm. Less than $10..

Does anybody have a Pentax lens shade for the FA 28-80 f 3.5-4.7 Zoom
that they are willing to sell? I am currently using a short shade that
doesn't always completely shade later in the day. I know that shooting
into the sun in the afternoon is not the brightest thing to do. But a
longer shade would be nice. The one I have is from an older Takumar 85
mm lens and is only 1 1/4" deep. If not, are there any shades out there
that I can look for that would fit and provide better shading?
