OK, thanks. It looks like this only hits you if you "skip generations" in the tree--I don't think that's affected me, because I generally have a couple of levels of non-exporting keywords at the top, then one or more levels of exporting keywords underneath, but I don't think I ever try to suppress export of one level that's between exporting levels. (It would hit me for people: People > [HUNT] > Matthew Hunt, except that I don't export people's names for privacy reasons anyway.) Looking at the bird example, I guess it also hits you if you want to have a non-exporting keyword with exporting synonyms. It's never occurred to me to do that. I guess I don't understand why someone would want "Grouses" to be in the tree, but non-exporting, but have the exporting synonym "Grouse". I'd either export both, or just have "Grouse" be the main keyword, and not have "Grouses" in the tree at all. I wish LR would make it easier to see the various keyword properties (exporting, has synonyms, etc.) while looking at the whole tree. Use color-coding or asterisks or something. -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
