Actually, I think I read about it a while ago here, on PDML. Never tested it though. So I took out MZ-3 today, put it on a tripod and took a few frames of a target sheet to see it myself. The result is that I was talking nonsense, more or less. The image seems to be shifted downwards a bit, but just a bit, nothing serious. I'd say it is just fine.
