I can't speak for Joe Random User, but personally I don't mind using my "back" button _in_general_; just when I'm flipping back to a table-of-contents page over and over while chewing my way through a long list of links. And more so when the ToC page doesn't render _instantly_. (Note that on a 100 MHz Pentium with 64M RAM running Windows NT and having five instances of NetTerm, Exceed, two Xterms, a copy of Opera in an X window, a copy of Opera running locally, Excel, and Netscape all open at once, and two dozen or more sub-windows open in Opera (I've had as many as a hundred and twelve web pages open at once in the past), even a fairly small page that has all its images in my cache may take long enough to render to be frustrating if I'm doing it over and over again.) -- Glenn - This message is from the Pentax-Discuss Mail List.
