We recently returned from a relaxing 10 days at the lake-side cabin. My father-in-law chose a good spot when he acquired the place 50+ years ago. We enjoyed the farmers' market, a couple of nice restaurants, and the Wine and Art Festival in Traverse City, the vistas at Sleeping Bear Dunes (recently voted U.S.'s most scenic beach), and the ice cream at Moomers just around the corner from us (recently voted the best scoop in the country). Mostly we just sat and read.
I probably have hundreds of sunset shots from the cabin lakefront over the years, but given the recent discussion about sunsets here I thought I would shoot a few more; this is one I am reasonably pleased with. http://smhalpin.posterous.com/ K20D @ 800 ISO, DA*60-250/4 @ 75mm, 1/200, f/20, + .3EV, spot-metered from the distant water IIRC. stan -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
