Frank you have a K10D? When did that happen? I can't say it's really effected your photography, I still hate you.

I think you're going to have to chalk this one up as a noble failure. As it is it's really too muddy.

If it was mine, I'd want to muck around with LR gradients and adjust the
contrast or curves in the clouds to make them more dramatic. However, I see
much noise in the image and I suspect that any curves adjustments will just
bring out more noise and make it look rather muddy and ill-defined.

So I guess you're better off leaving it alone, or maybe re-shooting it with
a different exposure. There're some great clouds today in our area, btw.
:-)
Yeah, there's just not enough drama in that shot I think. The noise
if from shooting at ISO 1600 (highest the K10D will go) just after
sunset. I think I'll just have to keep going back there and wait for
better clouds, earlier in the day (with more light).

Right now I'm holed up in the library at Yonge and Eglinton waiting
for a cloudburst to pass over - raining cats and dogs five minutes
ago, and now it's almost stopped.

Thanks for commenting!

cheers,
frank
