I honestly don't get what the fuss is about. They're obviously bored up there in the producers' office and they have this fun equipment available. So they use it. Big deal. I don't bother watching fireworks myself anymore 'cause really: see one, seen 'em all. Bang! "Ooooooh!" Phizz-crackle! "Aaaaaahh!" So superimposing them over other landmarks might make me even look for a few moments. If they floated them over a reclining nude I might even look longer. Especially if they were reflecting nicely off the oil on the nude's body ... hmmm ...

It's like 3D movies or HDR; it's a fad and they will go away. At least I *hope* they will go away.
