The mount and camera are perfectly compatible. �Working entirely

Is the switch on the top of the MES on "auto"? �If I remember
correctly, there is only an LED indicator in the viewfinder. �If
you are in manual, it indicates whatever speed has been manually
selected with the "up/down" buttons and won't change when you
alter the aperture. �In automatic exposure mode the indication
should move as the aperture is changed.

Recently, there was a URL given for owner's handbooks
downloadable from the Pentax web site. �I have mislaid this but
I am sure someone else will be able to pass it to you.
