Judging from this link (that appears on the top of the page you posted):

premature. Or at least it does not seem to be that way.
I am not sure though whether I need to have "Correspond to GPS unit
[O-GPS1]" functionality in my camera... I don't plan on buying that
module, you know...
I'd rather Pentax improved on AF performance of my camera, but that
would be pretty much like beating a not living beast of burden...
