Dave, Thanks for keeping us posted. I see the video and am stunned. All those places wrecked! All that pain and heartache. I came across a photo of a blue building, cracked with rubble covered cars in front. I read the 'Thrifty' sign in the front window and then looked again. Big window, corrugated garage door, then another big window. It was the place were I turned in my car rental after driving around the south island. You'll all have to be resourceful and resilient. And you may need better earthquake resistant construction. All the parapets, porches, and facades falling to the street are not acceptable. I'm still hoping for a miracle at the CTV building.
