Actually, having built-in filters is OK, but I dislike the fact that
the "default" filter is a skylight filter (and not a UV, or - even
better - none at all).  Maybe I don't want to add warmth to every
shot...  (I much prefer the design of the A 15/3.5 and the A 16/2.8
Fisheye, where the "default" is ~no~ filter, and the skylight filter
is an option.)

Yes, this also took a little getting used to for me, too.  However,
it ~does~ work OK, once one gets used to it.
