I like it, Stig! At first I thought I'd agree with Ann, but now that I look at this crop, I think it works well. Compelling photo! Cheers, Christine

I still like the first one better... something about the overall balance... just personal taste... but we do often agree!

Too late. Here is take two: http://album.heime.org/Default.aspx?albummode=Page&albumpath=%2falbum%2ftemporary%2fimgp0588.jpg

Still made 100% in camera with color filter with yellow color, retro filter with brown toning, base filter with reduced saturation and sharpness, miniature filter with blurred top and bottom and finally cropping and a little bit rotation.

Thanks. Yes, I thought of this cropping myself. I'll see what I do.

nono.. don't do it... not necessary and it would mess up the balance with the windows above the person almost out of the frame. In terms of the isolation... just being alone is less sad than being left behind or abandoned.

    I like this a lot. It's evocative.

If I had to change anything at all, it would be to crop out the person on the left, walking ahead of the boy. I think that would lend to the sense of isolation.

Nevertheless, I enjoyed the shot.
