The A 28-135/4 is my favorite "urban (i.e., non-wildlife) walking around lens", at least when I don't have to walk too far - it is certainly hand-holdable, but could be uncomfortable if one had to support it for long (especially on a body without a grip). > Another PDMLer wrote: "The ultimate "Super-Portrait" Pentax lens > is the 45-125 F4 Zoom." Perhaps, although f/4 is a little slow for an "ultimate" portrait lens. My personal favorite for a portrait zoom is the delightful Tokina AT-X 60-120/2.8 (although it is not actually a ~Pentax~ lens, just a K-mount lens).
