I just got a reminder of why I loved TMZ so much.
There was this wedding I shot in 2008. The couple are finally
getting their prints for their albums (theirs, the parents' ...).
I shot three rolls of colour and three rolls of black-and-white.
The roll of TMZ that I shot in the K2 at 3200 ISO, mostly during
the ceremony (no flash then, per the priest's request) has 21
frames ordered for one or more albums. More than half that roll,
most of those frames printed more than once each. And a bunch of
those were shot with the 100-300mm f/4 zoom (and, yes, a monopod).
I haven't shot much film lately, but maybe I should load up a
roll of TMZ and go shooting ...
... Or, come to think of it, at the other end of the speed
range, I'd better use up those last rolls of Kodachrome in the
freezer before processing becomes completely unavailable. Eep!
