I remember NeXT's very well. However, I never knew (or maybe just don't
remember) about their "3M" (Megapixel, Megaflop, Megabyte [of RAM])
Point taken. Hence, megapixel should be moved into the category where it
took new meaning with digital photography.

While reading the Wikipedia page about NeXT Inc. history
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NeXT , I discovered some things I was not
aware of. One thing, however, I am not quite sure about.
It says that "much of the current Mac OS X system is built on the
OPENSTEP foundation".
I always thought that Mac OS X was based on BSD, and if not based on
FreeBSD in particular, at least borrowed quite a few ideas from it
(as well as one of its "evangelists" Jordan Hubbard).
