I vote for Leon's Creek, where there is nice camping, great scenery and a hike in hot spring. There is also a nice area along the Lochsa River in Idaho. The Jerry Johnson Hot spring is where I would think is best. For a slightly southern venue, Kodachrome Basin State park in Utah! is very charming, with lots of good photo opportunities.
