I think the original poster wrote about stuffing MZ-S in backpack, not
"daypack". For mountain hiking or what he wrote about, 65-85l backpack
is usual (I use 85l for anything longer than bivouacking few days,
it's way overkill unless for a week or more, but I like I can put lot
of cameras into it together with normal stuff <g>). Carrying photo
gear on such trips is a problem I have not yet solved. You just cannot
carry a second photo bag on your shoulder, impossible. So it must
somehow get into the backpack (or on it). And be secure enough. And be
accessible. ...etc

Any solutions?
