After Bill posted about the inflatable ringflash, I went and had a look around the Turek Camera website. I had to have a nosey at the photo contest, of course. I even read the rules of entry. The very last one surprised me -
I quote: 9) For categories including people or pets, a model release is required. Where the photo taken is of a minor a parent or guardian's signature is required. With pets, the pet's owner's signature is required. Model release forms will be available at Turek Camera Shop. You're all going to tell me that this is perfectly normal, but I swear I've never come across anything like this before. Is it a North American Thing or is it everywhere?
