The last machine (and the one before) ran this with no difficulty, but from
the start with this machine it was always a hit and miss affair if the
programme would open and generally only from starting the computer cold.
We've since uninstalled and attempted to reinstall from the disc, but it
will have none of it - so there I suspect lies the problem.

We run Vista and want/may need to update and some stage to W7; in any
respect I think it is a software issue now and the current machine has no
difficulty running larger programmes without problem.

Kerrching at the shop till time, methinks.

Malcolm

Right click the program icon on the desktop and select the "Compatibility" tab - check the box for "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" ... select the last version of Windows where the program ran smoothly - Probably XP

I had Photoshop5 LE as a bundle with the Nikon scanner when I got it, and it ran fine under XP
