Well, you are going to be a new father, and that is when I made a major Pentax purchase myself. Actually, around the 1 year mark. What happens is that the baby will move faster than you can manual focus! So you need autofocus! Yeah, you can get a zx-5n and some lens, or a cheaper model and more lenses! If you look around get pentax dedicated flash that support TTL. The 28-105 AF pentax lens will do ya good! And it comes in silver to match so well with the zx-5n
