Damn there's gold in my lens collection, I paid about half that for my
300mm A* f4.0. I've seen the F 70-210 sell for twice what I think it's
worth, (then again I bought one. the 70-210, for only about $70.00. It
died of internal lose screw syndrome not to long ago, more's the pitym,
buying a replacement was cheaper than having it fixed).
I have an M*300 I'd sell for $450. which is what I paid for it. It's a
lovely solid lens but having an A version spoils you.

"This manual focus lens is in fair condition. There is minor
scratching on the rear element.
The interior element has a few blemishes from condensation.
That said, there are positive attributes to this lens. The front glass is clear.
It takes sharp pictures. It's only 6 1/2 inches long with the
hood open--a compact size for a telephoto of this focal length.
A Tiffen UV filter protects the front glass. "
