Technical term I learned in the military.
I'm not really afraid of flying.
I'm just dubious about most civilian aviation. Mostly because I *KNOW*
the shortcomings of military aircraft and how they're operated, but I'm
never quite sure what corners might get cut in the pursuit of profit.
By the time the cloud hits Europe it's too dispersed to cause total
engine failure. From an aircraft maintenance PoV, however, it makes
perfect sense to leave the machines on the ground.
