In my humble opinion, and speaking just for myself, Peter's
announcements of Pentax goodies are entirely welcome here. Although
I really wouldn't want to put out a blanket (no pun intended) red
carpet for every dealer out there, Peter does keep us informed about
about some of the rare stuff that he gets in that a lot of us tend
to drool over.

Besides, Peter is also a regular contributor to the PDML, passing
along insights often obtained from his business that most of us (as
amateurs) would often not come up with on our own.

(I contrast the above with the brief flurry of activity here on the
PDML by one Pentax book author, who had a lot to say here just
before and shortly after his book was released, but seems to me to
have been a rather infrequent contributor both before or since that
time.)

And, as for the CamDir web site, it does provide easy access to
Peter's new ~and~ used Pentax gear, and it does seem to be
frequently updated (and don't you just hate those dealer sites that
keep advertising stuff that's been sold literally months before?).

If there is one web site thing I would change, though, Peter, it
would be the placing of your new Pentax gear on the "Other Brands"
page, unlike the "full" page provided for N-k-n equipment - <g>.
It's not that I "don't like the company" (I'd rather be associated
with Olympus than with N-k-n), it's just that I'd prefer Pentax not
receive such "second-class" treatment. <sigh...> ;-)

However, Peter, just one thing: When you do get that ~really~ rare
LX goody into the store, just please email me directly a day or two
before releasing the news to the PDML, OK? <big sly grin>
