Why do people keep saying that the iPad has no USB? It has the 30-pin iPod connector which will have a USB adaptor available. (Though I expect any connected USB device will need to be self-powered.)
I'll buy an iPad to travel with when: a. I can put Lightroom or a compatible on it, so b. When I download photos I'll be able to tag, rate, etc. and then c. When I get home I can move the photos to permanent storage with preliminary ratings etc. preserved. d. And when I am home, the iPad should function as a graphic tablet for use with LR, Photoshop etc. It'll be a big improvement over the iPhone for navigating via Google maps. Wonderful for slide-shows. Would be nice to have the Pentax Remote installed, combination of size and battery life would be an improvement over using a laptop. To say nothing of the touch-screen controls. stan On Feb 3, 2010, at 6:34 PM, John Sessoms wrote: > From: paul stenquist >> Good idea. Electronic textbooks are starting to appear.
