The Copyright Holder function is a little-known, easy-to-use feature of
the PENTAX K-7 and K-x cameras that allows the photographer’s name
and/or copyright holder information to be included in the Exif data
portion of an image file. (Exif data consists of information such as
camera model, camera settings, lens focal length, etc.).
Once the photographer’s name and copyright holder information has been
added using the Copyright Holder function, it can easily be displayed
by programs such as the PENTAX Digital Camera Utility software.
This function is accessible through the [Copyright Information] screen
in the [Set-up] menu and is a handy tool for recording the
photographer’s name and copyright information for each picture.

This doesn't even start to address some of the things they've done in the
menu system, such as allowing imbedded copyright data right out of the
camera .......
