OK, I've taken a small step by writing a new stylesheet just for mobile devices. Access the page through the same URL (www.robertstech.com/pdmlbook/2008/) and it should detect the handheld device - it will omit the navigation thumbnails above the individual large images, which should clean things up a little. Let me know if it's any better. I'l going to experiment with Lisa's Droid phone as well.
