Maybe - the only irregularity is that the release has a dual throw: 1) the aperature release throws about 10mm before the shutter release. The shutter then throws. This ensures the aperature is open prior to the shutter firing (Cerrrlunk-thip!) 2) The threads are subtly different: The aperature is a regular thread (ie small barrel with threads), but the shutter thread is stepped in (presumably to allow differently threaded shutters to be used).
