The best time for viewing the cruise is the friday night preceding the
event. That would be August 14. On cruise day, the street gets clogged
with the SUVs and minivans of spectators. Still fun, because there's a
lot of food and bands and that sort of thing on Saturday, but Friday
night is the best time to see the cars on the street.
