Thanks, William. Sounds like good advice. I bet the bokeh is a lot nicer on the DA* than FA too. I shall keep saving I think. :-)
My FA50 is on it's way back to me due to an unnoticed defect (the darn thing won't infinity focus). Perhaps after I get it repaired and before I offer it for sale again I will do a more formal comparison between it and the DA.
