hey list,
I was thinking about this flash I have and it's proper use.  it's a Pentax
dedicated non-ttl flash (JCPenney). When used in auto, with the photo-sensor
in the face, it gives a requested aperture setting for the film speed you
have loaded.
Q: If I'm in AV mode and the camera can find an acceptable  shutter speed
for the aperture and correctly expose the shot and THEN the flash fires and
makes everything brighter, am I not then over-exposed?
If I actually remembered which shots I took with this flash as opposed to
the pop-up, I'd probably know the answer here....
