hey list, I was thinking about this flash I have and it's proper use. it's a Pentax dedicated non-ttl flash (JCPenney). When used in auto, with the photo-sensor in the face, it gives a requested aperture setting for the film speed you have loaded. Q: If I'm in AV mode and the camera can find an acceptable shutter speed for the aperture and correctly expose the shot and THEN the flash fires and makes everything brighter, am I not then over-exposed? If I actually remembered which shots I took with this flash as opposed to the pop-up, I'd probably know the answer here....
Cory Waters A little confusion is good for the mind, I think. - This message is from the Pentax-Discuss Mail List. To unsubscribe, go to http://www.pdml.net and follow the directions. Don't forget to visit the Pentax Users' Gallery at http://pug.komkon.org .
