Hi, I have seen a similar claim that Europeans prefer unsaturated film whereas Americans prefer saturated film, but the statistic was based on sales figures of identical films. Afaik US Velvia and European Velvia (and all other big-name films) are the same as each other, but Europeans buy less/more of it per something-statistically-valid.
